In The Bride's Own Words...

Since neither one of us ever thought we would get married, we had no idea how difficult it would be to plan a wedding, much less a destination wedding. We flew to Cancun in September and searched for an ideal location given the expected size of the wedding. We settled on Hotel Akumal Caribe. The hotel’s owner, Laura Bush Wolfe, suggested Gina for wedding planning services. Preparations began and panic set in. Through many emails and exhaustive phone calls, Gina helped us figure out all the components to our perfect wedding week.

From organizing welcome drinks at a hip, trendy bar in Playa del Carmen, to arranging a fishing trip for the boys, to transforming the hotel’s pool area for an Indian henna party, Gina had everything covered. She arranged shuttle transport for all of our guests which was no small feat considering the various destinations, airlines and delays.

Gina put together a picture-perfect wedding and fun-filled fiesta. Clearly, planning weddings is more than just a job to Gina, it is a passion. No detail, no matter how small, was left to chance. Gina’s experience, creativity and patience made it possible for us to relax and enjoy the experience as if we were guests at our own wedding.
