In The Bride's Own Words...

Gina,

It is difficult to put into words how happy Adam and I were with the wedding you planned for us in Akumal.  It was the wedding of our dreams - beautiful, elegant, personal, emotional, and one of the best parties anyone's been to!

When we started planning the wedding a year ago, we knew that we wanted an intimate ceremony in a beautiful setting.  With our love of travel, we thought it fitting to have a "destination wedding" in a location that was tropical, but not too far away so that our most of guests would be able to attend.  Adam's family has been vacationing in Akumal for decades, and the first time we went there together, I knew that this was where I wanted to get married - the most beautiful water you will see anywhere, sunny skies, amazingly fresh local food and great margaritas...the perfect ingredients for a fabulous wedding weekend!  Thanks to Gina, it truly was.

From the minute I spoke to Gina about our upcoming wedding, I knew that she was exactly the type of person I wanted as a coordinator - she has modern, sophisticated taste, she has done tons of weddings so she knows what works and what doesn't, she knows all the vendors (and they all think the world of her!), and she tailors the wedding to YOU (no cookie-cutter weddings here!).  Throughout the year, she gave us ideas and advice for everything, from choosing invitations to the most beautiful flowers for the bouquets.  She also gave me the email addresses of former brides, several of whom turned out to be invaluable resources during the planning period (especially Marianne).

The flow of the ceremony was flawless - Spanish guitar playing in the background, elegant white chairs, straw mats and rose petals down the aisle.  After we said our vows, the mariachi band started playing, and Adam and I led the wedding party down the beach to a beautifully set-up cocktail hour right on the beach.  Once inside Lol-Ha, I was floored by the gorgeous table-settings and stage set-up.  The dinner was amazing (the staff was SO attentive - we had a waiter for every table!), the salsa band was so good - the guests LOVED the music!  And the cake - wow, chocolate and kahlua are a great combination!  Gina worked so hard to make the wedding everything we imagined and more - her services are invaluable and we are extremely fortunate to have found such an amazing person!
