From Boston, Massachusetts

Wedding Location

Puerto Aventuras Beach, Mexico

Wedding Description

Marianne and Chris have one of the most romantic stories I have ever heard of and the theme carried throughout their wedding. For weeks after their departure people were still talking about the wedding. What a beautiful bride! What a romantic wedding!

They shared the most beautiful vows. The day was perfect. There were endless details, luminaries, floating candles, the unique guest book, and lanterns!

Mariannes and Chris friends are incredibly talented and they joined the band for reggae singing, beating bongoes, congas and all the percussion instruments around.

This will always be a wedding to remember.

In The Bride's Own Words...

Every bride and groom has an idea of what their dream wedding will be like. It is easy to think about being barefoot on a beautiful white sand beach under a cloudless blue sky and later dancing the night away to the music of a great salsa band. It is something else entirely, however,to make those dreams a reality! If you are looking for someone who can take your vision and make that day absolutely spectacular, then you should use Gina. Gina made our wedding day (and our wedding weekend) absolutely magical. It was far and away better than even we could ever have imagined! There is an art to what she does and it is amazing that even while we were getting married, we found time to get caught up in the beautiful setting, the great food and the sounds of the salsa band. All of our guests repeatedly toldusand continue to tell us that our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended. We did not expect that and we cherish our day all the more for those reasons. We honestly believe none of that could have been possible without Gina.

We must admit that we had many doubts about having our wedding in another country, but Gina's enthusiasm and utter professionalism at our initial meeting in Mexico quickly eased our minds. Before our meeting, she had emailed us questionnaires so that she would have a better idea about us and the type of wedding we wanted. During our meeting, she was full of wonderful ideas and possibilities not only for our wedding, but also for the rehearsal dinner as well as other activities for our guests. She showed us a few different locations for the wedding as well as ideas for accommodations for us and our guests. What really struck us at that time was her genuineness and her friendliness towards everyone, from the hotel and restaurant managers to the workers in the restaurants and the condos. She clearly knew everyone and they all seemed to like her and respect her. We knew that we could trust her.

Over the next few months before our wedding, we truly felt that Gina was our advocate. She was the perfect go-between between us and the wedding vendors. Having someone with Gina's contacts and experience on our side was incredibly useful. I am a micro-manager and a perfectionist by nature, and Gina always remained calm and friendly (and diplomatic)...even during my "bridezilla" moments.

Once we arrived in Mexico, Gina kicked into high gear as she finalized all the final wedding details. Her attention to detail was evident in everything, from the petals strewn just so on the sand, the tikki torches on the beach, the beautiful and colorful decorations, the delicious wedding cake, the food, etc… She even organized our rehearsal dinner in Playa del Carmen. It was wonderful!  Gina really helped to make our wedding day absolutely spectacular, and we will always be grateful to her for that.
