Wedding Description

Audrey wanted a place to get away and just have family and friends for one week to really spend time together and get to know each other. She never wanted the fuss of a traditional wedding and Jeff and Audrey agreed they also needed a place for their dog Coda to join them and not have to worry about rules and policies regarding pets. Taninah was the perfect location they were looking for.

After a few days out exploring the area we scheduled a lady to give manis & pedis the day before the wedding to get in the event mood. on the day of the wedding, a hairdresser visited Taninah to get the wedding party ready. Slowly and without any stress all vendors flowed in and delivered their best for a gorgeous & intimate affair.

The ceremony took place in one of the gardens at Taninah while Yvon Pepin harmonized with his amazing classical guitar.

Chef Tomas Soberanis had hors d' oeuvres ready after the ceremony for a champagne cocktail by the pool then later he prepared a fabulous meal followed by traditional mexican tres leches cake.

As this was a small event Audrey & Jeff brought their IPOD.... they knew their crowd did not need much to get dancing.

The day following the wedding we scheduled a "trash the dress" session across the street from Taninah at Xpuha Beach. One of the Riviera Maya well kept secrets.
