IWedding Description

Having seen Amber grown into a woman over the last 8 years allowed me some insight as to what she would like and all I could do was please her. She is of the most trusting, up front, easiest human beings to work with. She is part of a family that travels in a large pack and never leave anyone out of the fun. Three generations of family and friends gathered on the beach at the place they all call Paradise. Her aunt, her sister, her parents, family pastor and many other family members were very much involved in the planning process making it fun for all to come to Mexico for a great occasion. I was in for a real treat of a wedding week!

Over the planning months both Matt and Amber were very involved and diligent in flying in for food tasting and band scouting trips making sure they gave their guests a great party to remember them by. Amber even came back a second time for hair trial and cake tasting, parents joined in on this trip as the couple just raved about the gourmet meal prepared by Chef Tomas Soberanis. They had to give their seal of approval and they were not disappointed!

All guests stayed around the same beach front complex to maximize quality time with one another and to get to know both families. As we all know the wedding day goes by so fast, this group had plenty of time for extra get togethers before the couple went off on their honeymoon.

Upon arrival of each group of guests, Amber welcomed all their guests with baskets filled with bits of local flavor making everyone feel so special right from the beginning until the very end of the week.

On the big day, Amber looked stunning holding an elegant calla lily bouquet and wearing a formal gown tailored perfectly for her. She was so happy as she walked barefoot down the petal covered aisle holding her fathers arm- her dream had come true.

After a very emotional groom vowed his love to her, guests were ready to lighten up and start the party! Mariachis played their first tune and the party moved to a lounge area under palm trees while hors d' ouvres were passed around with champagne and a local cigar professional rolled cuban tobacco party favors for the guys. After other emotional speeches and lots of great spirits it was time for Gourmet Soberanis to delight all guests with an incredible 3 course meal. Local Band Culture Orphans played their hearts out for several hours pleasing the crowd with all their favorite tunes they all know well.

So much more can be said of June 11th like Matt says; its impossible to capture in a few sentences how this day went. Hope the photos do this day justice!
